Q: What type of custom paintings do you do?

A: People often ask me create a painting from a photograph of an event, a home, a favorite scene or special people.

Q: Will you paint from a black and white photo?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you paint portraits?

A: I will paint people, and the likeness is evident, but because of the abstract and stylized nature of my work these works are considered art and not portraiture.

Q: Do you paint on scene?

A: If the location is within Fairfield or Westchester Counties, I will paint on scene.

Q: How long does it take to order and receive a custom painting?

A: If you order a painting today, you can expect to view your artwork within six to eight weeks. Clients in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY will receive their paintings within six weeks. For clients outside of this area, please allow an additional two weeks so the paint will dry sufficiently for shipping.

Q: Do you always paint in oils?

A: I will paint in acrylic upon request.

Q: Can I request special colors?

A: Absolutely. I can work with any color palette you prefer.

Q: What is the investment?

A: Pricing is by size, ranging from $500 for an 8 x 10 painting to $2400 for an 18 x 24 piece of art, plus shipping. There is an additional charge for painting on location. You can call 203-570-5577 for specific details.
